IBPS PO 2017 Examination Pattern to be Conducted

There will be two stages of the IBPS bank PO examination i.e., Preliminary Exam and the Mains. The details of both the stages of the examination have been given in the following points:
  • IBPS Exam is commenced online i.e., it is a computer based online test which IBPS conducts to recruit the eligible candidates for the post of bank PO.
  • After qualifying the written test, candidates will be invited to participate in the interview tests.
  • Candidates will also require participating in the group discussion rounds to finally qualify the test.
  • The IBPS Exam 2017 will be of objective nature. There will be multiple choices of answers for every question in the exam.

IBPS PO Exam Syllabus 2017

  • The Preliminary exam will have a question from the Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and English Language.
  • Candidates need to bring minimum qualifying marks in the pre-examination thereafter they will get call letters for the main examination.
  • The main examination will have the questions from the subjects such as General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Mental aptitude and Reasoning, English Language and Comprehension and Computer Knowledge.
  • The main exam’s result will be announced officially on the IBPS website and candidates need to qualify the exam to be eligible to be invited for the final round of selection process, viz., and interview and group discussion.

  • Candidates, who qualify the written test will be invited to take part in the interview where the interviews will judge the personality traits of the candidates.
  • Candidates need to show his communication skill and the banking skills in the interview to convince them that they are able candidates for the post of Bank PO.

Tips for Preparing for IBPS PO Exam 2017

  • For bank PO exam, candidates need to develop his overall personality besides preparing for the Mathematics, Reasoning, and English etc. the exam has three stages and to crack all the three stages of the examination, candidates need to turn himself into an intellectual person who can think out of the box.
  • For the written exam which is commenced in two stages, candidates need to complete all the topics as mentioned above before appearing in the examination.
  • The mocks test can be of utmost significance while preparing for the IBPS PO examination as the mock tests help in building the soloing speed and boost up the confidence.
  • For GD PI, candidates need to attend mock interviews and group discussions.
